Bella Roma Restaurant has been established since 1975 and is the longest running Italian restaurant in the Wakefield area. Situated on Northgate in the busy Wakefield city centre, Bella Roma has built a reputation for providing delicious food with excellent service to customers both new and old.
The client wanted to expand their customer base and increase new visitors to the busy restaurant. To achieve this, the client planned to introduce a new brand to the front of the restaurant. In addition, the client required a web presence that would inform potential customers of their service offerings and offer evidence of the high quality in both food and service received by patrons visiting the restaurant. The client requested a rustic feel to their website to fit in with the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The client wanted to convey their passion for good quality food and show visitors to the website exactly what to expect from their visit to the restaurant. The client also wanted the website to express a very authentic Italian experience, and for the website to be consistent with the look and feel of the restaurant.
Web Factory produced three design concepts based on the client’s initial brief. Our design concepts gave emphasis to the food using lots of images of the dishes on the menu. We used the client’s existing colour scheme and elements from their corporate identity to reinforce their brand online, helping visitors to the website associate the site with the restaurant, and vice versa.
Through a careful review process with the client, a final design concept was selected and a website was built: and the client was delighted with the results!
