New Contract with NHS

Web Factory has just had its winter check-up at the Doc’s and won an important contract with the NHS at the same time!

Web Factory has just won an important contract with a department within the National Health Service. The North East, Yorkshire and the Humber Quality Assurance Reference Centre (NEYH QARC) aim to provide quality assurance in National Health Service (NHS) screening. QARC maintain minimum standards and improve the performance of all aspects of screening in order to ensure that women have access to high quality screening services wherever they live.

NEYH QARC operates various quality assurance schemes throughout the region, including breast and cervical screening quality assurance schemes. In addition, QARC operates quarterly Technical External Quality Assessments (TEQA).

Web Factory has been commissioned to build an application solution for use by NEYH QARC’s TEQA team. The software application solution will be used to compile and analysis and chart data gathered during quarterly Technical External Quality Assessments performed by the QARC.

Part of the NEYH QARC brief was that the solution be developed as a deployed secure desktop application. Although Web Factory specialises in developing web applications for business, we welcome the opportunity to show the breadth of our skills and look forward to exceeding the QARC’s expectations.
